Over half of all software projects fail.
As the IT problem solver, I counter that.
Independent & sans bullshit.

Services

Service Provider Helmsman

Clients commissioning IT projects are often at the mercy of their service providers or talk eye-to-eye. Service providers, on the other hand, have a conflict of interest: providing optimal advice conflicts with their interest in selling more.

With years of experience and communication skills, I find and manage service providers so that you and your project are well positioned for the long term.

IT Project Rescuer

We’ve all heard it: IT projects become too expensive, take too long, or fail to meet their goals. This has become almost normal – but that doesn’t make it acceptable. The causes can be varied, but often lie in high complexity.

With my experience, I can identify human, factual, and technical problems, propose solutions, and implement them together with you.

Clarity, Pragmatism, Sustainability.
No Bullshit.

I work actively with you and find pragmatic, sustainable solutions with suitable partners. I value radical honesty and critical discussions – always with the aim of actually making progress.

I meet you at eye level – regardless of your background. If necessary, I will stay at your side over a longer period of time until everything is really targeted & effective.

I’m curious to meet you!

Common-Good-Nerd with Conviction

I (Sebastian Ullherr) am a three-time startup co-founder and long-standing managing director of a remote-first digital agency. After more than 20 years in the IT sector, I now understand what is important in digital projects & working environments – especially when working with service providers and using digital tools.

I am a pragmatic critical thinker and strong communicator with experience as a developer, user researcher, designer, project manager, product owner, founder and leader.

With calmness, focus and sincerity, I find a solution to every digital or human problem.

Digital Sustainability & Common Good

As a consultant & service provider, I want to facilitate & create impact, not just do business. It is a personal mission of mine that as many people as possible make a positive contribution to shaping a sustainable future. I am therefore particularly motivated to work with organizations that pursue the Goals for Sustainable Development of the United Nations. I incorporate the following elements of digital sustainability into all my activities:

The 6 elements of digital sustainability: footprint, handprint, human-centeredness, data protection, accessibility and a strong mindset

Handprint: The measurable positive impact of a digital system on one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Human-centeredness: The alignment of the systems with the goals & needs of the users and other affected persons.

Mindset: The transformation to a sustainable and future-oriented work culture with the aspects of “New Work”, remote work, purpose & common good.

Footprint: The negative impact of a system on the climate, people and the environment. Are reduced, for example, by applying green software principles.

Data Protection: The protection of the right to informational self-determination and the active prevention of the misuse of data.

Accessibility: The needs of people with disabilities are considered on an equal footing with other requirements when designing the digital world.
